Everyone advertises same day. Almost nobody defines it
So here is ours, in plain terms. Book before 2pm and we can usually be on site the same day anywhere in metro Melbourne, subject to technician availability. Book after that and we will tell you honestly whether today is still realistic rather than taking the booking and arriving at 7pm.
There is no emergency surcharge during normal hours. Same-day work is priced the same as a scheduled booking – $189 for a general treatment is $189 whether you booked it a fortnight ago or this morning. A genuine after-hours call-out late at night is the only thing that carries an additional cost, and you are told the number before we come.
The part nobody publishes: some jobs should not be done at short notice, and we will say so. A termite inspection needs one to two hours and a written report – rushing it defeats the purpose. Bed bug treatment needs the room prepared first. Heat treatment needs equipment scheduled. Booking those today would take your money and give you a worse result.
What genuinely is same-day work: wasp nests, rodents in a food business, a possum or bird trapped inside, dead animal removal, fleas before an inspection, cockroaches in a commercial kitchen, and general treatments. Those we will do today.

A dead animal smell getting worse, fleas before a final inspection tomorrow, cockroaches in a commercial kitchen, an ant or spider problem you want gone before guests arrive.
What we do: Same-day attendance where a slot is open, at standard pricing with no surcharge. Book before 2pm to give the schedule room to work.
Better done properly
Worth waiting a day or two
Termite inspections, bed bug treatments, heat treatment, borer inspections and bird proofing. All need time, preparation or equipment scheduled.
What we do: We will book you in properly rather than rush it. Taking your money for a 20-minute termite inspection would be the easiest sale we could make, and the least useful thing we could do.
